Naked Wines brings the concept of crowdfunding to the world of winemaking. Naked Wines uses intelligent direct mail to automate and personalize direct mailpieces to ensure members get the most out of their membership.
Naked Wines created a series of direct mailpieces from welcome letters for new customers to “account statements” for existing customers that have accrued enough balance to purchase wine. Each communication is signed by its head winemaker and features vineyard imagery. These direct mail campaigns forged a deeper connection with its customers and drove a 7% increase in repeat purchases for Naked Wines.
We’ve been able to drive additional retention and increase repeat orders. This has been a great initiative for us and we’ve seen benefits across the business.
