RSUs (Registered Stock Units)
We offer our full-time employees RSUs as we’re building Lob together. Our equity grants are meant to align Lobsters with Lob’s long-term growth. We want our employees to share in our upside as we grow Lob to be the industry leader in our space.
Home office setup
We understand that working remotely comes with its pros and cons. We want to make sure you have access to good quality office equipment, so we offer our full-time employees a one-time budget of $1000 to expense towards their home-office setup. If you leave Lob, you’re permitted to keep all peripheral equipment.
Having reliable internet access is key to collaborate and be successful at Lob. To help with this, we reimburse up to $75 per month for home internet from a local provide
We offer an open vacation policy. Work-life balance is important to us, we encourage Lobsters to take time off and enjoy life outside of their work.

At Lob, we value health and wellbeing. If you’re sick don’t sweat it, stay home and rest up!
Taking care of your family
Family comes first, we understand and encourage that. We want to make sure our teams don’t miss out on any special family moments. So we subsidize DSI/PFL to ensure that our employees on parental leave are paid full salary for the qualifying weeks. Full-time eligible employees that have been with us for 6+ months are paid 100% of their salary for 16 weeks.
Carrot fertility benefits
Lob’s Carrot benefit gives you employer-sponsored funds you can use to pay for fertility treatments and family-forming services. As a Carrot member you also have access to fertility and family-forming education, virtual chats with physicians, a library of educational resources, exclusive discounts and expedited appointments at clinics, and access to a dedicated Care Team. We cover 90% of eligible expenses, up to a $20k lifetime maximum.

We encourage our teams to look after their health, stay active and enroll in wellness programs. As a result we reimburse eligible gym membership fees, mindfulness and meditation programs, mental health services, and other wellbeing programs up to a maximum of $100 per month.
For Lobsters that like to work from our headquarters, we offer a $200 per month budget that they can expense towards their commute costs. You can contribute up to an additional $70 out of your paycheck (tax-free) per month.
There’s no shortage of learning opportunities at Lob, and it’s up to you to choose where you want to develop your skills. That’s why all of our employees have a dedicated yearly allowance for professional development and learning.
As a full-time Lobster, you can start saving towards your retirement with our non-matching 401K program. When you start with us, you are automatically enrolled with a default contribution of 3% (you can opt-out or change your contribution rate at any time).

Medical, dental and vision insurance
We offer medical benefits for all our full-time employees. We pay 90% of employee premiums and 70% for dependents. Employees are offered four plans to choose from.
Short and long-term disability coverage
Lob provides paid short-term and long-term disability coverage to all full-time employees.
Employee assistance program
Our assistance program provides expert guidance and specialists to support you and your family resolve daily challenges and manage more complex issues. Some of the services provided include counseling, coaching, online programs, work-life services, legal, financial, ID theft services, and more!
Health flexible spending account
We offer a Medical Flexible Spending Account (“Health FSA”) to all of our full-time employees. A Health FSA allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for health expenses. Lob contributes to HSAs at $50 per month for employee-only or $100 per month for family plans.
Home away from home
Lob provides $20 for in-office lunch and $25 for dinner for employees working through the evening (7PM) at the office.

When you’re craving a snack, you can find a variety of treats and drinks at our office.
Social events and paid company trips
