Modern Slavery Act Statement

Lob.com, Inc. ("Lob") is providing this slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending December 31, 2025 for the purposes of the United Kingdom's Modern Slavery Act 2015. This statement sets out the steps taken by Lob during the reporting period to prevent, identify and address human rights and modern slavery risks in its operations and supply chains.

Lob recognizes that human trafficking, slavery, and related exploitative practices such as servitude, forced labor and child labor (collectively referred to as 'modern slavery') are egregious violations of human rights. Lob is committed to respecting human rights and supporting responsible workplace practices across its operations and supply chains.

Lob's Commitment

Lob is committed to:

  • conducting its activities in a way that promotes ethical values and behavior, reflects fair dealing in business, upholds labor rights, supports health and safety in the workplace, and conducts its business in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations;
  • delivering high-quality services to customers while upholding the social and environmental responsibility of its operations and supply chain; and
  • taking a risk-based approach to identifying and addressing modern slavery risks across its operations and supply chain,
  • making year-on-year progress to improve practices to combat slavery and human trafficking.

Lob expects its employees, suppliers, partners, and all other business associates to do the same.

Lob's Business, Operations and Supply Chain

Lob is a technology company that provides a platform for direct mail automation. Through Lob's software platform, customers can automate the creation, printing, and delivery of physical mail. In addition to its platform services, Lob engages in certain data broker activities, including acting as a data broker in limited contexts. These activities are conducted within the United States and solely involve the sourcing and licensing of data from third-party vendors. For more information about Lob, please visit the Lob website.

Lob is incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in San Francisco, California. Lob works with a network of third-party print partners who produce physical mail on behalf of our customers. These print partners enter mail into the postal system through logistics partners or the United States Postal Service. Lob's print partners may in turn engage their own suppliers of raw materials (such as paper and ink), equipment, and logistics services. In addition to print partners, Lob's supply chain includes data vendors, cloud infrastructure providers, and other service providers that support its operations. Modern Slavery Risks

Lob recognizes that modern slavery risks may arise in both its direct operations and its supply chain. Lob conducts annual risk assessments to identify and evaluate modern slavery risks across its supply chain. These assessments are informed by the findings of Lob's annual print partner audits. Risks are assessed by reference to both the likelihood of occurrence and the potential severity of impact on affected workers. Based on the nature of its business and supply chain, the following areas have been identified as presenting potential risk:

  • Logistics and postal services, which can involve large, multi-tiered workforces and subcontracting arrangements with varying levels of oversight;
  • Suppliers operating in higher-risk jurisdictions or regions with differing labor standards and enforcement practices; and
  • Use of subcontractors by suppliers, which may reduce visibility over labor practices beyond Lob's direct contractual relationships.

Lob continues to assess and refine its understanding of these risks as its operations and supply chain evolve.

Addressing Modern Slavery Risks

Lob has taken the following steps to address the risks of modern slavery practices in its operations and supply chains:

  • carrying out supply chain due diligence and risk assessments (see "Supply Chain Due Diligence and Risk Assessments" below);
  • implementing policies and internal governance procedures (see "Internal Policies and Procedures" below);
  • facilitating the reporting of modern slavery risk-related concerns and monitoring the effectiveness of Lob's efforts in addressing modern slavery risks (see "Reporting, Monitoring and Measuring Effectiveness" below); and
  • maintaining an ongoing commitment towards preventing, identifying and addressing modern slavery risks (see "Ongoing Commitment" below).

Supply Chain Due Diligence and Risk Assessments

Lob maintains a zero-tolerance approach to violations of laws addressing human trafficking and modern slavery.

Lob conducts regular reviews of its business operations and performs annual audits of its print partners to identify and mitigate potential risks related to modern slavery. These audits assess compliance with contractual, legal, and ethical requirements, including modern slavery laws. Lob expects its print partners to implement policies and procedures that respect human rights and align with internationally recognized standards. Lob's contracts with print partners require them, and any subcontractors they engage, to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Lob also considers whether its own purchasing practices (including pricing, lead times and payment terms) could inadvertently contribute to modern slavery risks in its supply chain. If Lob becomes aware of potential violations of these requirements by a print partner, Lob will engage with the relevant partner to understand the nature and extent of the issue and require prompt remediation, prioritizing the welfare of affected workers. Where remediation is not achievable within a reasonable timeframe, Lob may suspend or terminate the relationship as a measure of last resort, having regard to the potential impact of disengagement on affected workers.

Internal Policies and Procedures

Lob strives to treat all individuals fairly and consistently, fostering a workplace and business environment that is open, transparent and built on trust. Lob's policies and procedures reflect Lob's commitment to ethical business conduct and respect for human rights.

Lob's internal policies and procedures designed to reduce the risk of modern slavery include:

  • Employment policies designed to protect employees from unfair treatment and promote a fair and inclusive workplace;
  • Recruitment processes designed to comply with applicable employment laws;
  • Compensation and benefit programs that are periodically reviewed to ensure fairness and competitiveness;
  • Wellbeing initiatives that support employees' physical and mental health and overall wellbeing;
  • Procurement processes designed to ensure Lob enters relationships with companies that respect and uphold human rights; and
  • Lob communicates its policies to employees through onboarding processes and periodic internal communications, and to suppliers through contractual terms and ongoing engagement. Lob's policies are periodically reviewed and updated to reflect evolving risks and best practices.

Reporting, Monitoring and Measuring Effectiveness

Lob monitors the effectiveness of its efforts to address modern slavery risks through several mechanisms, including:

  • documented annual audits of all print partners;
  • internal processes for reporting; and
  • internal processes for addressing employee concerns.

Lob aims to maintain an environment where individuals feel free to voice their concerns about possible breaches of Lob policies, as well as suspected violations of country laws and regulations. Lob encourages employees, customers and other interested persons to report ethical concerns. Lob expressly forbids retaliation against anyone who, acting in good faith, reports suspected misconduct. Lob is committed to promptly investigating all reports of illegal, unethical, or inappropriate activity and is dedicated to abiding by its duty to notify the relevant authorities when encountering a potential victim of modern slavery.

As of the date of this statement, Lob has not identified any instances of modern slavery within its operations or supply chain. Lob recognizes that the absence of identified instances does not necessarily indicate the absence of risk, and Lob is committed to continuing to strengthen its due diligence processes to improve its ability to detect and respond to potential issues.

Ongoing Commitment

Lob remains committed to respecting human rights wherever it operates and to maintaining responsible oversight of its internal operations and third-party partners. Lob will continue to review and enhance its policies, procedures, and oversight processes as appropriate.
