Windows Print Queue Management
RPM has many transformations (print queues) that will enhance your network printing. Some of the features include allowing the end user to manipulate data, save to disk, insert & append data, and many other features. Managing RPM's printing queues is one of the key reasons RPM has been the number one print manager for years, hardware or software.
The Transforms within RPMRPM will create a transformation based on your input and desired end result on your spool file. More than one transform can be performed on any given print job. Once RPM completes the transforms on the print file it will then complete an action. RPM can also convert your file to HTML, PCL or PDF making it easy to archive your print files to have a complete print history on the server.

Pass-through Printing (raw)RPM can send data directly to the printer using pass-through printing. This feature is common among print servers, however, few software print servers can accomplish this without any modification of the data. This queue type acts as if the printer is locally attached to the mainframe. Enhanced features and translations such as EBCDIC, SCS and ASA to ASCII can be performed if necessary. In addition, the following features can be used. Text PrintingText printing and finishing functions are features that set RPM apart from all other LPD products. RPM's ability to handle many text formats intelligently, while providing a simple interface, has been a key reason for administrators and other IT professionals to make the switch from their existing print server to RPM. Text features include:
Filter "Printing"Filter processing in RPM provides the means to integrate print data with third party software and custom processing, while continuing to use the established printing services in your business system.
